This is the definition of stubborn

But Stanley can't/won't play a deep ball. A deep ball to him is 1-2 yards past the line of scrimmage. He cannot effectively hit a receiver more than 10 yards down field. He needs a lot of work in the off season.

He hit two over 20 yrds just in the first Q last Saturday. In addition, it's not always about making the completions. Teams still have to attempt to throw downfield even if incomplete, just to keep the D honest. It's the game within the game. One hopes for a positive end to every play, but people have to understand that won't happen 100% of the time. That doesn't mean you stop attempting.

Same with blitz, I look at a blitz as a means to speed the game up for the QB. There won't be a sack on every play and a sack is a bonus. The goal is to shorten the decision making time and hopefully into an aberrant outcome, such as interception, maybe not complete as long as route as wanting, incompletion, and a bonus sack.

I wonder how the SOP game plan will work in Madison?
Well, apparently part of the "game plan" for Michigan last year was to look pathetic enough in the games leading up to that one that Michigan would come in with a vanilla approach and no motivation.

Will that work against Wisconsin? Will it be enough w/out the homefield advantage?

Iowa will look damn good in the Swarm, and that's probably about it when we play Wisconsin. Other than that we will probably look like a bunch of paramedics doing field triage getting everyone off the playing field. That's about how bad it could be...
