This is the Bubble

Why exactly would I care about anyone else? We're talking about ISU and I stated that ISU does indeed have a win over a top 50 team. You're just hating to hate. Per the usual, I suppose.

How is anyone "hating" on Iowa State? Most years, they would not deserve to play in the NCAA tournament. But the field is pretty weak this year and they will likely be a beneficiary of that. They have 2 victories against the RPI Top 50, and just 4 against the RPI Top 100. That is an incredibly weak resume.

At the end of the day, ISU will be playing in the post season. That's something neither team can claim for the last many seasons.

ISU could really help themselves by winning one of the last 3, for sure. If they lose the last 3, then they would certainly find themselves on the bubble and may be in trouble because the committee really looks at the last 10 games. I'd really like to see them win 2 games in the tourney to help build momentum going into the big tourney. They really control their own destiny right now.

Wait, I thought you said they were a lock? Now, maybe they aren't? I'm so confused....

Stop being a biased Hawkeye fan

Are you saying they are a lock then? If so, explain...

ISU could easily lose 3 out of their next 4 games. IF that happens, and IF they have a bad loss in the Big 12 tourney, they may not be a LOCK as you are implying.

I do believe that the Cyclones will make the dance, but they are by no means a "lock"

Sarcasm, I believe.

As of today ISU and Purdue are a Solid IN. After looking at the last 12 IN, even if these 2 lose out they will probably make it IN.

Illinois, St. Joes, Central Florida, NC State and Minnesota have been moved to Solid OUT. Dayton, Drexel, LSU, Arizona, Colorado, & Southern Miss enter Last 12 OUT.

Actually Southern Miss should be one of the Last 12 IN. Even though they lost 2 straight. They are 9-4 in CUSA but they are 16 in the RPI!

I thought this thread was "this is the bobble" and it would be all about Matt Gatens bobbleheads...disappointing...

Like all brackets, this assumes NO upsets in the conference tournaments. Any upsets and teams at the bottom of the last 4 IN are left OUT. ISU is now a lock.

Texas is down to 8-18 Texas Tech with under 5:00 to go. If they lose this there is no way they make it in the tournament.
