This game is nearly unwatchable

Yes we won. But man this game stunk. Both teams played terribly.
The crowd sat on their hands, on senior night no less.
The players were uninspired.
The announcers were bored.
And at one point, Neb player came down with a rebound, got bumped by AW and stumbled for 6 steps. No whistle. Even the refs fell asleep.

Can you think of a place you would rather not be on leap day than Lincoln, Nebraska? It's a magical day of wonder, who wants to spend it in the place happiness goes to die in the dark?

I decided to take it as encouraging that this team could play that poorly on the road and still win by nine. It has probably been four years since we could that, against anybody.

Fans should like every win this program gets, especially roadies in the Big Ten.

But it certainly didn't make it any less boring. That first half was awful, as was the first 6 or 7 min of the 2nd half. There was a stretch of about 4 minutes of gametime that was legit. The rest... ugh.

Good win, boring game.

The 1st half was terrible basketball...of that there is no doubt. We played much better the last 10 minutes of the game.

Listened on the radio, so I was able to let my imagination run wild!.....Close score kept me engaged and I got pumped when we started raining 3's. I was definitely entertained. Just glad to get a win against the Huskers more than anything.

It was a nice road win for us, but the original poster was absolutely right. It was, for the first two thirds of the game, an UGLY game by both teams.
