I'll say this; it seems that we recruit a kid for a "great story" more often than we should.
And it leaves us chasing past results.
"Searching for Bobby Fischer"? More like "Searching for Dallas Clark"

I will say this and maybe it was said before and I missed it. Any team in a major conference that willingly decides to NOT recruit Florida has to be questioned? There are a lot of 3rd and 4th tier recruits in Florida that are as good or better than the top recruits here in the Midwest. To me, that spoke volumes about the recruiting. Now I know they have reopened Florida and are at least trying again so that's good. But I still wonder about that decision and what it says about the ability of some of this staff to really compete for top recruits.
