The missing link

I love Fran, and what he's done with this program. I love the guys on our roster.

That having been said, tonight's game brings into clear relief the missing link for this team. It's not a shooter, or a scoring guard, or whatever.

It's Strength...Power...the ability to overpower guys inside. A Kent Hill or Ed Horton type. We're tough...but we're not strong or powerful.

Add that to this team...and we can play with anyone.

Respectfully disagree. How many times have our guys had the ball stripped from them..or taken away on rebounds...even in our WINNING games during the NIT?

Tonight...it's more than we can overcome. We're soft...weak...lean...whatever. We need some BEEF! That has a lot to do with why we miss those layups...our guys are physically intimidated.
