I got a long way to go if I'm going to catch up to Herby.
and how many road games did Indiana play? NONE ZILCH NADDA,Nope no way, Iowa did not play enough road games in the non conference.
and how many road games did Indiana play? NONE ZILCH NADDA,
Iowa played a ACC game on the road
You act like it is credible to compare Iowa and Indiana...
You just opened pandora's box with Redhawk, you are in for an argument now.
I know and Herby will get me banned one day, he always accuses me of picking on him when I don't agree with him...funtimes...![]()
It's good stuff, he means well but then it turns into a ******* match over his opinion is king and the rest of us are stupid. Once in a while he acknowledges that a difference in opinion is ok, but not often.
Yeah and if Herby would relax he actually says a lot of things that are relevant.
I do think Iowa will make the NCAA tourney as well to answer the original question...agree with the Dark Knight on this one.
I want to see how Iowa plays against Indiana and Michigan and MSU first. Then I will have a clearer picture of where I think Iowa will be.
Indiana has as weak of schedule as anyone. Duke should have passed them before they lost. They beat UNC by a lot...but so did Texas. For reference:
Indiana Hoosiers Basketball 2012-13 Schedule - Hoosiers Home and Away - ESPN
Yeah, but that takes all the fun out of making predictions. I have Iowa beating IU/MSU, a split would be just a good for me, but on paper they don't win. This is where preparation comes in and how Iowa responds in-game when there is adversity. Iowa didn't begin to respond to in-game adversity well until some games in the BIG (Wisconsin/Minny). This year's team has responded well to in-game adversity so far, yes they lost a couple of winnable games, but came back and won one that they don't in the last 6 years. Iowa has better players this year, but how is their mental makeup, that is what really defines a team that wants to get back to the NCAA tournament.
I don't disagree with you, but until they lost or played any close games Duke wasn't going to pass them. Michigan had an argument as well.
