After watching a good portion of the game today, the thing that stuck me the most was how much more prepared they looked playing us. I suspect they practice for four weeks on the Iowa game in fall camp and every other game gets the 3-4 days most normal games get.

You always practice harder for the super bowl.

No mention of how ISU didn’t go through the proper channels that every other school has to go through when requesting shade tents. It has really gotten to the point of absurdity from the ISU fan view point.
*Iowa fans want out of the series because it has gotten so competitive. (yup 5 in a row, 6 of 7.) Maybe it's just me but I see that as dominance.

*ISU is much better than Iowa. Iowa won at ISU in the biggest game for ISU in their history. If not for the wet field, delays, poor officiating, sunshine, clouds, wind, rain, sleet, hail, heavy bird traffic, ISU would have won handily. (excuse machine in full gear)

Triple overtime win at home against UNI? Only a great fumble recovery by Purdy has kept ISU from a 1-3 start.
By the way, UNI got pounded by WEBER STATE last night.

I stated in a post earlier this month that Campbell should have jumped at a better job when he had the chance. I stand by that. He is going to end up like the other trash heap of coaches whose careers were ruined in Ames.

Baylor barely escaped Rice who is 0-5 and lost to Louisiana Tech yesterday.

I stated in a post earlier this month that Campbell should have jumped at a better job when he had the chance. I stand by that. He is going to end up like the other trash heap of coaches whose careers were ruined in Ames.

I think 7 and 5 is the ceiling for this ISU team with future losses to Oklahoma, Texas and Okie State. They should be competitve with TCU, KSU, and W VA. Beating Kansas and Texas Tech should be a cinch. If Campbell can get to that team to 7 and 5 mark and gets an offer elsewhere he would be wise to take it. There will be some P5 jobs open and there is also the professional route, which might even be better.
