After watching a good portion of the game today, the thing that stuck me the most was how much more prepared they looked playing us. I suspect they practice for four weeks on the Iowa game in fall camp and every other game gets the 3-4 days most normal games get.

It’s only because of how predictable a ferentz team is. It takes little preparation. That’s been said by opposing coaches for many years

I think it is funny how everyone seems to know how the year is going to line up because this team sucks or that team isn't very good. Obviously those people haven't been paying attention to the last 20+ years of hawkeye football. Those are the games where we typically underachieve and get beat. How many seasons have been ruined because of the loses to those "weaker" teams that we should have beaten. We just need to go out and play to win and stay healthy

Now wait a minute, you said that how much you pay a coach matters in results. So our games will be Illinois, Penn State, Nebraska, and Michigan will be our big games left since they all pay their coaches more than Iowa does. Hell we should easily beat Wisconsin since they only have the 29th highest paid coach.
