Really? You are treating this article like it is some serious assessment. It is just a low-rate writer trolling for page clicks. And you just gave him a bunch. Dig into his background and you will probably find some anti-Iowa baggage. Or he just knows a fan base that can't resist focusing on bad news.

KF makes a **** ton of money and anyone who makes that kind of money at this level like it or not gets this type of attention. However Let's Really be honest though the accuracy of his assessment is what you really didn't care for.

I have a lot of concerns about the Iowa football program and the coaching staff; however, to give any credibility to some blogger who can say whatever is not something that I am going to do. Mostly, this thread is a re hash of what we have been hearing from many posters for the last couple of years. I am not saying there is no truth to some of the concerns, but I am growing a bit tired of the same ol' same ol.' Sorry, but that is where I am at this point.
I agree

Problem is....the truth hurts. Yeah anyone can write anything, but this guy didn't pull Iowa out of thin air...he may be just some random writer/blogger, but he sees what is a very possible scenario in Iowa's program more so than most any other (especially in major college football), and just let the facts speak for themselves.

So you have concerns about the state of the Iowa football program? so the reality is that is something you just did. :)

I feel about football the same way I felt about basketball during the last couple years of Alfraud, and all through the Lickliter mistake. Well, that's not entirely true. During that era, if Iowa happened to be on TV, I was home, and there was nothing good on TV, I'd watch. I'll still watch the games this year, but I won't plan my Saturday around it.

I read somewhere that if they extended the contract of Ferentz for a year it might help in recruiting.

Congratulation to coach, Barta and the athletic department for finally being relevant in the world of sports again.

Ditto, under the Alford era I started that too, it darn near ruined me, I haven't fully got back into bb but I'm closer. Football started that way a couple years ago, I still watch but expect to turn it off.

The article also failed to mention that in 3 years the coaches son will be promoted to head coach. A few more so so years and we're back on track with BF.

I didn't read the article. Did it mention that our coaches son was promoted to run game coordinator to plug the hole in our sinking ship?

The blogger is just echoing what has been said on iowa sites for a couple of years. The yells have gotten louder and the echos get louder and travel farther. He's picked up on it and wrote an article. Nothing new. But he blogged.
