Texas/Texas Tech Blacked Out?

Not that I was going to give this game more than the occasional passing glance, but ESPN2 on Directv says the game is blacked out. I thought the reverse mirror guaranteed whatever game wasn't on ABC could be seen on ESPN2.

Anyone else having the same issue?

It's on regular ESPN2 here in Marion, IA. Texas marched down the field to score a TD right away.

Doubt it makes much difference, but it's blacked out in north central Iowa (Forest City) as well. Had planned on recording it on my direcTV DVR, and watching it if Texas Tech wins.

Nebraska-Washington was only available in standard on mine today as well..

Not sure why. Directv is great but can be a little goofy at times.

Nebraska-Washington was only available in standard on mine today as well..

Not sure why. Directv is great but can be a little goofy at times.

Maybe this is why i missed the Wisconsin ASU game.

Yeah...maybe we're in the Texas region as well.....I almost decided to drive to the game, and then realized that I hadn't eaten anything and didn't want to make the quick drive.

Well, I am flipping between ND-MSU (0-0), Clemson and Fighting Chiziks (17-0 Tigers, Clemson, that is) and Tex-TT (14-0 Horns).

I just didn't want any OT in the game on ESPN (Clemson-Auburn). So far, that looks like a good bet.

Don't know how it is for you, but it was suppose to be on channel 209 (ESPN2) but it was blacked out, but it's on ESPNa (211) for me. It's not HD though. Games getting ugly anyway.

Turns out the game is on 211 (standard def) for Directv.
