My guess is that the bench will be substantially shortened against teams like Texas, MSU, ISU, etc. Jok and Uhl have been far too prone to coughing up the ball to give them any serious minutes until they can demonstrate the ability to maintain control of the ball. If Iowa can keep turnovers down to a number like 10 to 12, then I would think they would have a decent chance of winning the game.

The B1G has played relatively similar teams as far as difficulty to this point. So far, Iowa is #1 in offensive rebounding, assists, and steals. They're #2 in rebounding margin and FG%D and #3 in FT%. On the downside, we're #9 in TO margin and #10 in 3pt%D. Those last 2 had better get better vs Texas.

Helllo, Hawkeye Nation! Time for a quick update from the greatest city in the world (of course, IC is 2nd, by a hair, am I right?)
Just out of the 2 pm matinee Xmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. Wish culd say I was appeasing Mrs SB but hard to complain bout 72 gorgeous Rockette gams (I swear theyl had a little xtra kick cuz Still was in the Hall;-) )

Quick burger and pint at Guys All American & a quick change into the gear then off to make an appearance at the Huddle. (I'm sure GarBar cant wait ti see me. The Mrs says NO discussion with him on the KirkFer "situation")

Cap it off with Fran's boys makin' steak of the longhorns at MSG!
