Texas offensive coordinator Greg Davis resigns in shake-up - ESPN

That's not exactly a fair comparison.
1. It's Texas. No, not the "Little Ole Iowa" syndrome. In Texas, football is more than a religion. Losing more than 2 or 3 games is hardly tolerated, at any level. Davis was made into a scapegoat, in a year where Brown decided to try and be a power running team, and got away from the spread (which is Davis' bread and butter). The shakeup was completely unnecessary. All they had to do was go back to what they've been doing for the past 6-7 years.
Your not comparing KF to Brown I hope, maybe we should hire davis.

Check out the some of the performance from the offense During Davis' tenure. Fans down here have hated Davis for years despite the numbers he's put up.
Coach Ferentz has to much integrity to throw an assistant coach under the bus. I prefer a coach like him over Zook or Brown. He'd prefer to get fired than make a scapegoat out of his assistants. It shows a lack of integretity.
Do you want Norm Parker to get fired? Let's face it, Coach Ferentz could push Norm very easily to the curb. Multiple amputations, serious health problems, can't make recruiting visits, the uncertainty of future participation, age, etc. However, Ferentz won't do it. His is very loyal to his assistants. Likewise, the staff is very loyal to him.
Coach Ferentz is a good boss. Far superior to Mack Brown or Ron Zook. Who would you rather work for?
I suppose they don't like the spread? Besides the fact that it produced a national title and another championship berth. Correct me if I'm wrong there.
