Temple by the numbers

I thought I watched a lot of hoops this winter but I can't say I've seen Temple play at all. I'd like to think Iowa is more dangerous this year than last year but not if they try and be a two man team like the last handful of games... Clemmons and Woody have to do something out there... They play too much and I'm half surprised teams don't just leave them wide open. As good as Jok and Uthoff are they can't do it alone and god forbid either of them have an off game....

I think it quite clear teams have figured out that Jok is the X-factor to shut down. He about single handedly beat Illinois. I think they are fine with Uthoff getting his 18-20 points a game, but I think they want to get in Jok's mug and physically mug him. I think they know Uthoff is such a well rounded player that they can allow him to get his points, but they know that Jok is not as versatile and can take something away a little easier & chase & try to tire him out. I think teams are making a point to take Jok out first.
