Around June 14th probably. League probably starts around June 24th based on previous years.

As I said in earlier post, PTL is an issue for Iowa this year. There were only 4 teams last year. Only 2 returning teammates can play on any particular summer league team.

I am fairly sure Meyer counts, not sure about Uthoff. But at four teams, Iowa would have to leave someone out.

If Uthoff doesn't count, then they could get away with 5 teams. However, if Marble and White make the UNI games and Uthoff doesn't count, four would be fine.

I am not sure if I heard right, but I think marble, white, and basabe might not be playing in it or only a little. I believe white and marble got offered try outs for a USA team or something.

Basabe is going back to NYC this summer...he is out.
White and Marble will be occupied in Colorado at some point.

I do love the PTL. You get to see Hawkeye players score lots of points, and even when we sucked, it gave you hope. I am looking forward to it even more this year...and the Europe trip. Isn't it fun to be excited about Iowa Basketball again?
