TB coach speaks about Clayborn

Oh wow, way to shut me up. The fact that you can win some 4th place toliet bowl games really takes away tall of the glory of our stack of crystal footballs. It is so funny when you idiot Big 10 fans come down here for the Outback Bowl and act like it is some kind of achievement. Only Big 10 fans are bragging about winning a 4th place bowl game. Oh sure, but you have your ethics. I mean sure, the only way you could beat an SEC team in the BCS is to have the LIAR and CHEATER Tressel use a bunch of ineligable starters, but why should that put a damper on you bragging about how "ethical" you are.

Kennel up and move on.

100% untrue.....I was laying in the weeds just waiting for you to say this. It's what all you SEC fans say when the truth starts crowding in on you. See the truth is YOU count it when its convenient, the SEC spin machine counts it when they are trying to postulate their superiority but now you don’t WANT to count it….hmmmmm?!?!?!

The reality is this……….the SEC has won 6 straight NC’s as elected by a process that doesn’t involve a tourney and does involve a lot of arbitrary rankings. Kudos to them they deserve the spoils…all the same they only have about 30 more NFL alumni than the Big 10 and are only about 2 games above .500 against them since 2000.

Iowa for what it’s worth can play with ANY SEC team and has proven it time and time again.

As for the NFL there are tons and tons of Big 10 and Iowa studs in the NFL….hopefully Adrian will prove to be one for you. I’m not a big NFL fan so in reality my only hope is for Iowa players to look good. You are only here to maim and be an arse in which case I’ve laid it out pretty clear for you and you have nothing left to say…

It just so happens that an accomplished lexograph not unlike myself does not need automated assistance in order to compose a comprehensible dictum.

I naturally assumed that because midwestern inhabitants don't know the intricacies of collegiate football, I would have to devolve into a more approachable vernacular to facilitate discernation of discipline.

a ********* is a *********... regardless of the words he uses. By the way, we're all quite impressed.

Clayborn is going to fit in well in Tampa. I used to live there and the guys who I still talk to that are true Bucs fans, LOVE the pick. They were excited about the draft so far.

I have no doubt, this was just an SEC guy wanting to take jabs and that didn't work out so well for him. As a rule they are pretty short sighted and myopic about the SEC!

Amazing to hear an SEC fan calling out Big 10 fans for "bragging about winning a 4th place bowl game" against the mighty SEC. And since you mentioned the only way a Big 10 team (sorry but can't use "we" because we don't ride the coat tails of every team in our conference) can win a meaningful game is by cheating I can't help but asking, aside from Alabama making the trip to PSU this year, what big bad SEC teams are willing to leave the south. Face it, the only opportunity most teams have of facing off against any SEC foe is either by being a lesser opponent looking for a paycheck, or being from a southern state, because your big bad conference doesn't like going north. And then when that big bad SEC team gets beat, in their own backyard during a bowl game the excuses fly.

Bottom line it's easy to run your mouth about losing "meaningless" bowl games to the big ten, but when was the last time the greatest conference ever consistently scheduled real competion outside of their own backyard.

sec fans love stats and big10 fans love x-cuses

how else can you xplne youre ****** confrance every yr

if he cant get it done aganst northwester and minnysota hoshe gonna get it done against no and atl

Half the SEC players would not even be academically eligible to play on a Big10 conference team. It's a rogue league. Actually, would you like Ohio St? :p

I was acctually born in, and until recently, lived in Iowa. I live in Tampa now, I am a big Bucs fan, and 75% of Bucs fans are unhappy with the pick. That's why I'm here, to share that information.

Say what you will about the ethics of the SEC, but we don't care. We care about results. We win the trophies, which you have apparantly chosen to admire from your high horse rather than trying to win one on your own. And since we care about results, it is hard selling us a guy with 3.5 sacks in the Big 10.

Well, the Big10 kicks the SEC's azz on NFL draft day. NFL owners seem to like the "player development" of the Big10 conference.

In particular, I like this statement
"Choosing OSU, USC or Iowa almost doubles a recruit's NFL chances"

Same here....and that video didn't even have all the **** poor officiating in it.

That game was 6 or so years ago I believe & I can remember the 5 manufactured calls like it was yesterday. There were 5 game changing calls that either killed a drive or changed field position in that game. Iowa still was in the game after all that & recovered the onside kick which was negated.

Anybody have the photos of the onside kick & the kick-off by Florida earlier in the game when they had like 3-4 guys clearly offsides?

You meant former SEC guy, right? I think it's really Urban Meyer with too much time on his hands. After all, four hours passed between his 1st and 2nd posts as he consulted his thesaurus composing the 2nd post...who else has that much free time?

I msut have forgotten it. I got a huge contact buzz walking by the Hawkeye locker room.
