Syphilis on a Clinton? Seriously?

Some people just love being offended and can't wait to express it ...

Confucius would not have said it better!

How relevant, given Hawkeye Nation's nonstop fuss over ESECPN's / American College Football national medias' blatant and relentless dissing of Iowa. It's to the point where people seem to be trying to be offended.

Please, go rewatch Iowa Nice Guy's video. Not only is it hilarious, it is factual - particularly the bit about "sour grapes".

People need to lighten up. I like Deace on the podcasts, he provides a lot of good informative insight and it's nice to have a non-Iowa fan to offer alternative opinions.

I was not offended by what he said. I just thought it was about as stupid a remark as you can come up with.

Frankly, I had no idea what this was, then figured it was someone talking about something in the podcast...I had to go back and listen. He said it so fast during the podcast I never even caught it.

The podcast may contain things at times that cause some folks to react, just like our radio show did. We'll continue to let the podcast go where it goes. I think everyone knows in advance that at times it's possible to steer off the rails and if it goes too far, I try to reel it back in. But one thing I won't do is lay down tight guidelines, because then it will cease to be entertaining...it's already mostly 'business' anyway and less veering into the ditch like we used to do, which was my favorite part of the show.

By this point, you know what we do, you know what Steve does for a day job, you know at times it may bleed into the podcast. Every episode of the podcast makes it into the Top 10 in the College and High school sports category on itunes, most into the Top Five and regularly at #1 or #2...for me, that is far more validation that we are putting something out that the masses are choosing to consume, and that's the direction we'll keep going.

I do appreciate everyone listening, and don't begrudge folks who might get their feathers ruffled from time to time...but given that we have done over 100 or so of these podcasts, I think some folks may be inclined to look for things.

I laughed on the podcast and was like WTF, then this post title made me laugh, the later posts made me laugh even harder... didn't realize how sensitive everyone is regarding STD's and a Democratic party candidate for president. I think most posters need to R-E-L-A-X...Hawks are 8-0!

AND FOR GOD SAKES MUTE YOUR F*****G CELL PHONES WHEN YOU DO PODCASTS!

Steve isn't on the podcast to add balance. He was much more positive on the Iowa football team for the last 18 months than Jon ever was.

Then again, I guess he did add balance. Jon was anti-Iowa and Deace was pro-Iowa.

Are you going to start a thread every time some one says something stupid? Or just when when it gores your ox?

LOL! No, I just don't let my political views/hatred for a particular person cross over into my critique of a football game. I am no fan of the Clintons but I do put myself above all of that sort of ignorance. I guess if you think that sort of thing is cute and witty then...

Then what?

Nope, I wouldn't even question Deace about WHAT he said. I would only ask him if that is the best he can do when describing pass coverage.

I remember two things about the Clinton years:

One, taxpayer-financed political witch-hunts ending in impeachment over fellatio.

Two: Everybody I know making a sh!t ton of money.

Problem, profit?

Did someone say "republican congress????" . . . but seriously, he was able to get along with congress, unlike the current rule-by-fiat Hussein.
