Hmmm...I wonder if the jock straps still smell like jock straps that close to the program. Seems like he overspent for the privilege...but that's just my opinion.

From what I've seen people post about him on other sites he's apparently the John du Pont of Hawkeye basketball minus the psychotic murderer part.

He donates a shitload of money and thinks he gets to be part of the program/team, when in reality doesn't know dick about basketball. Sounds like everybody puts up with him hanging around because he donates a lot.
 
Good for him! At least he donated the money to further the success of the Hawks. Lot of rich dicks would have spent it on another Ferrari for themselves. If this makes him happy as well, it's a win/win in my opinion. I'd do it if I could.

Yeah the guy might be a tool but I don't see the point of ragging on him when he's a huge donor for the program

For the record, I wasn't in any way ragging on him for donating a bunch of money to the program. I said it's a win win. I, and many others, just found it a little annoying that he would constantly be bragging about his "connections" when the reality was he was basically paying his way in. I think he was sponsoring a scholarship at one point as well so that's pretty cool of him, and I suppose it's nice that the program is willing to give a guy like that access. Money talks.

It's one thing to go after a university employee or student athlete, but talking about another fans wife isn't right. Especially while hiding behind the Internet makes you looks like a coward.

In general I agree; in this instance I think she'd be flattered she's being discussed. If you've seen her at the games then you understand she clearly likes and welcomes attention.
 
I didn't say anything bad about his wife. I simply said his ex-wife was hotter. I think Selma Hayek is hotter than Jennifer Aniston. Does that mean Jennifer isn't attractive?

I don't associate the term PC with a liberal. I usually associate it with a wimp. Someone who can't handle another person's opinion unless it's coated in sugar. I think the internet is the wrong place for you.
And I don't care about movie stars. I'm judging 2 people that I don't know, based on looks. I don't know Selma or Jennifer either. You cant get more superficial and impersonal than that.
