I used to like Papa John's. Don't know what happened to it the last decade or so.

Domino's was mediocre in my college eighties and not much has changed thirty plus years later.

I'd take Dominos over Papa John's any day. As for chain pizzerias, I'd have to go with Godfathers and their taco pizza

I so miss Rocky Rococo's that use to be in the Ped Mall in Downtown Iowa City. Great pizza after a night of drinking beer. They also had a Rocky's across the street on the Northern Iowa campus, but that one closed as well. They still have them up in Wisconsin. I have actually thought about driving up to WI just to have a couple slices of Rocky Rococo's pizza and their bread sticks. I wonder if they deliver to Iowa?

The wife makes sour dough pizza of various flavors with turnip greens on top. Unbelievable good.

There's a RR near the Fish Hatchery Road exit on the Madison Beltline.

They could probably make it to the Dubuque side of the river in about ninety minutes if they hustled.
