STORY: Hawkeyes Land Commitment from OL David Davidkov

Does this class have a chance to be an all-timer for KF? Certainly the linemen on both sides are crazy good on paper.

The staff stays hot on the recruiting trail and we sit in very good position with several other top targets. Awesome news!

Yes. Good shot this could be a top 25 class nationally, maybe top 20 if we can pull Fidone.

That would put it up there as top 2 or 3 of KF’s tenure. (2005 was 6th nationally according to 247 sports).

24/7 now lists Iowa currently at #6 nationally in this class. As of one hour ago. Well done!

Iowa "hoping to get Ricky Parks" a RB to join the elite line recruits.

Iowa is in good shape with Parks at RB. A high 3* or 4* depending on who you ask.

Right now the next few we could see join would be:
-WR Skler Bell (announcing May 20th)
-RB Ricky Parks
-C Michael Myslinski (ranked as the #4 Center nationally by 247 sports)

All in on Instate guys:
-WR Brecht
-TE Fidone

If we get all those guys except Fidone we’d be at 16 commitments. This class is in great shape and continues the upward trend on the recruiting trail.

I think Iowa's recruiting continues to keep getting better and better. If you look at the last four or five years...9 underclassmen declare early. That tells you the talent is there. The thing I like is that the team is also taking on some grad transfers. Cronk on the o-line is a big get IMO...all big ten player.

It would be nice to get DT also...just to add depth.

A nice respite from Covid19 news.

Our lowest rated commit, Jordan Oladokun, is a mid-level 3-star (granted, due for a bump up to a high 3-star according to 247 guys), with 12 P5 offers, including Maryland, Penn State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

For comparison, that's more P5 offers for one player than ISU has across their ENTIRE 12 man class so far (and 9 of those offers come from one guy).

We are curbstomping them on the recruiting trail.

I don’t care much about ISU but it’s been cool to see Iowa beating out legit P5 schools for their recruits as opposed to a few years back flipping Mac players.

I think we are in for some very good seasons in the next few years.

Listed at 6'6 290. By his sophomore year he will be 315 -320 pounds.
I hope so. Seems like we have been more focused on lighter quicker guys in recruiting and development. Minnesota had a massive offensive line last year and Wisconsin always has. Would like to see some big boys in there wearing on people.
