What was that all about with them firing Danny Manning anyway? I'm so in the dark with that program. Had he been there awhile and they stunk? Any off the court stuff? I didn't realize he was even there coaching to begin with when I heard he was fired. So I suppose that speaks to the relevance of how their program has been doing.

I see that Forbes is a Lone Tree, IA native. Played baseball at Southern Arkansas before becoming the basketball coach at Southwestern CC in Creston. After that he's moved around a lot.
