Steve Forbes being from Lone Tree actually a problem?

Whomever Iowa hires, they had better be a worker and not afraid of hard work..and they had best be able to recruit.

I think Forbes fits both..he would be a head coach that wouldnt want to all of the sudden delegate most of the recruiting, because the man genuinely loves to do it. He would live, eat and breath Iowa basketball, and that is what the program needs right now. He is certainly in my top five right now.

I don't think it would be uncomfortable. I don't think in 5 years if Lick walked into Iowa City people would make it uncomfortable. Even so if SF does visit Lone Tree, he's probably going to visit family and for the most part families are supportive of each other, and I happen to know a lot of his family, and know they would be supportive no matter how he did at Iowa. I don't entirely disagree with you about the pressure, but that's going to be on any coach with the way the last 3 seasons went.

Exactly

Find me a D1 coach who doesn't have any pressure on him to win. Its everywhere, regardless of where your from.

Are you a cartoon character? Go re-read the original post, and pay attention to the last line.

I read the post Jones.

He brought it up as a possibility, and my answer is how can you prove that him being from Lone Tree means that he'll be under too much pressure to succeed? Rather than some of the other pressures that EVERY D1 coach faces.

If anyones a cartoon character, its probably the guy with the screen name "gravyjones"
