Iowa Farm Girl was a volleyball player. She is a friend of Ghost's, but she disappeared right around the time Ghost's ban ran out. Remember when Ghost got banned? Man, I would pay money to see a bluzmn versus Ghost cage match.
 
There is no reason that KF should not be called out. You can't live on past performance forever. The Hawks have underperformed the last three years and 6 of the last 8. 7-5 does not cut it. If anyone else performed as poorly as this in their job, chances are they would not have their job anymore.

I am not saying KF should be fired, but he can't continue to live in the past. It is time to quit being bull headed and stubborn and start adjusting to the changing landscape of college football.
 
Highschool coaches get fired for not producing. A coach that won a state title 10 years ago will be on the hot seat if he isn't producing today. After 14 years ,its hard to stomach what we are seeing now. I don't think we are as bad or PSU is as good as what played out las Sat,but his refusal to let another QB play is plain stupid as are alot of his decisions lately.

If Ferentz was coaching in the SEC and fielded the type of team he has this year, he wouldn't dare have a call-in show. The Iowa fans have always been extremely deferential to him on his show, almost to the point that you would think he is personally screening the calls. Plus, he has Dolph to deflect any criticism. I quit listening to the show because it was such a love fest for the coach. Now that he's taking a little heat, it's a big deal.

I don't know what world you have been living in hawkfan, but the number of worthless, useless, lazy and dishonest people I have known who hang onto some pretty good, well-paying jobs is significant. See...Wall Street, Health Insurance Companies, Bankers... and that is just in the last few years!

Obviously if the Hawks have a lack of talent that is on the coach. The bigger issue I have is the refusal to adjust. You can't tell me that Iowa State or NW or Indiana had better talent when they beat Iowa. Their coaches knew they couldn't just out execute Iowa and they came up with schemes and formations that made the other team have to react. KF never, never seems to do that. At least for me that is why I have reached my frustration limit this year. If he would try another QB even for a series or two, or shake up the play calling and still lost, I would be much less frustrated with them. They just seem to stick with the "out execute" mantra and 7 games down and no change is just inexplicable.

I actually had a Penn State fan over to the house to watch the game with me because he lacked BTN. After many beers midway into the game... I said "It is so much harder to play against Penn State when everyone don't know what they are going to do."

From what I've seen, if you're CEO of a company that has three bad years in a row you get a big bonus and a raise. And in reference to Ferentz, he hasn't had three bad years in a row, just three mediocre years.

It's not just a matter of Iowans being polite. Three quarters of the calls go like this: "Hey coach, I'm so honored you took my call. I just want to say that I think you are the best coach in college football and Iowa is so lucky to have you on our sidelines." When you're talking about filling a 90 minute show every week, this can get rather stale over time.

I checked, and IFG was permabanned in March of 2011, and my ban was not lifted until June of 2011. I think you're trying to imply that I am IFG, which is false. If I see you in Heavenston tomorrow, I'll show you a picture of the two of us on my sweet flip fone.

And IFG was a VB player at Drake, not at Iowa. She is waaaay too smart for state school.
