Steelers Suck...

Not really...considering the way the offense was on and the defense was still struggling, no problem with that call at all.

Mike Tomlin would have looked like a "genius" if Ike Taylor would not have touched the ball when it had only gone 9 yards. It was executed nicely, and the blocking was keeping the Packer front line from touching the ball. Taylor just grabbed it too early.

Yeah, I guess...I am a Steeler fan, so I'll get accused of bias, perhaps, but I don't personally believe in "the end justifies the means". All things considered, I see why he made the call.

With 4 minutes remaining you take the risk...if you get it, it pays big. If not, they have good field position and IF they score on the drive they likely leave you enough time to answer back.

If they kick that ball deep and GB take over at roughly the Pitt 20...there is a good chance that if they drive and score you don't have anything to work with by the time they eat up the clock.

The Packers didn't see it coming, so I think it was a good, gutsy call. (I'm also a biased Steeler fan.) It wasn't executed correctly, which is always the trick with the onside kick.

The Steelers have to make some changes in the secondary and on the O-line in the offseason (though I'm still holding out hope for a playoff run this season!).
