Stay Classy Wisconsin

If you hit/sunday punch anybody over the results of a football game, you are a regulation A-HOLE regardless of ages. I just hope this miscreant POS doesn't have access to any firearms.

So now you're trying to bait me into calling you a "girl?" No thanks. Epic fail. Your post reeked of implications that somehow "girls" are inferior to "boys" and that simply is not the case. Look, I spent two weeks in a sensitivity training class for being overheard referring to our stellar Word Processing Department as "the gals in the typing pool" and it really opened my eyes. I'm really not in the mood to argue about this with you, so I'll let you get the final word and then just drop it. Sorry if I offended you.

You still have a word processing department? And they're all women? Your sensitivity training covered micro-aggressions but did they teach you about the glass ceiling?

You didn't spend time in sensitivity training. You were in a "Re-education Class". Probably in Beijing, or maybe Seattle.

Gotta be careful with the "one d-bag = a whole fanbase" stuff.

That being said. There are a few places in my long tenure that stick out for d-bad behavior toward visiting fans. Wisconsin is in that small club.

I think I saw him.

I think I found him. He's in the crowd next to the guy wearing red.

Yes, the act is reprehensible and I hope the guy gets caught. But as many posters have pointed out - for the most part, in the B1G, you don't get this stuff. Even at the larger stadiums, most of the B1G fans have at least a modicum of courtesy and common sense.
As I understand it, that is NOT the case at many of the SEC stadiums down south, especially in Alabama and Florida. I've heard about so many visiting fans who were almost scared for their lives the whole time they were at the game. The home fans made the experience as threatening as they could.
I guess there is still something to be said for midwestern manners.

In 2010, after the Hawks had an epic meltdown and lost that game I witnessed a DB Wisconsin fan in red/white striped coveralls run down Melrose hooting and hollering and throwing his hip into the rear view mirrors of 3 cars in a row. This left the mirrors dangling off the cars and then he took off running behind a house because a couple guys jumped out of the last car and chased him.

I kid you not. Complete douchebaggery. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He vandalized 3 cars in front of hundreds of people. No idea what happened to him, but from that point on Wisconsin has been my least favorite team in the country and most hated rival.

I witnessed the egging of Hayden Fry at the visitor's tunnel in Camp Randall. Unbelievable. And EVERY fan around me was laughing.
