Stanley similar to NFL? QB?

Stanley brings a certain type of QB game to Iowa and hopefully to the NFL next year.

Which NFL QBs is he most similar to? Accuracy, size, TD/INT, arm strength, temperament, personality?

These come to mind to me:

Joe Flacco

Terry Bradshaw

Ben Rothlesberger

Brett Favre

Roman Gabriel

No, I am not comparing him to these NFL players, all very good to excellent. Issue is style, talent, arm, etc.

Stanley reminds me of... NOT, Stanley is as talented as...

Bradshaw and Favre could really move around and run, scramble and really throw the bomb so stanley aint like them yet. Flacco, Big Ben, and Roman are a little more the in the pocket type passers that Stanley is.

As far as standing in the pocket and dumping it off and making short throws stanley is more like Tom Brady in style but of course not near as accurate and quick minded.

If drafted, it will be interesting to see how he develops on an NFL team. At Iowa he is playing for a hyper risk averse HC so IMHO, that hurts his opportunities to "make plays" that others are allowed to take a shot at. He certainly has the build and arm to do well.

I also say Ryan Leaf.....he can't throw accurate passes more than 10 yards down the field. Wont be drafted
At least with Stanley, when he misses, he really MISSES, can't be caught by receiver or d-back.

The long pass to Smith? at the goal line was a nice pass and the big 3rd and long was a laser.

He kind of is in the same world as Chuck Knoblauch of the Twins and Yankees, who as a top level second baseman kind of forgot how to throw to first base, although try he did.
