Stanley similar to NFL? QB?

I've heard a lot of big ben comparisons, mostly because he's big in the pocket, doesnt go down easy, moves just enough to not get sacked a lot. Throw in low INT #'s and he must be doing some things well. He does have a big arm. Is it possible that our receivers arent professional style athletes that it's hard to overthrow or run consistently crisp, precise routes. Look if our WR'S make a couple of hard but "should have been caught" catches, the narrative on Stanley suddenly isnt quite as harsh. Maybe a Flacco type QB.

Goff of the Rams was a terrible bust as the highest draft pick, until the Rams acquired some wide receivers, an offensive line, and a functioning offensive minded coaching staff. Cooper Kupp, slow, white, and now healed from ACL surgery sure makes Goff look like an all-pro as well. He can get open and catch a football.

Kosar was really slow!!!! :D
Drew Carey, a Browns fan from Cleveland, used to do a bit in his stand up routine about Kosar. There goes Kosar! He's at the 20! ...pause... He's at the 21!... He also used to did, "Here's my impression of Bernie Kosar" and would knock over his mike stand. "Here's Bernie scrambling" and would rock it back and forth.

With some of the answers here so far I'm surprised Uncle Rico or Al Bundy haven't been brought up yet.

Big Ben for sure. They always comment on his size and able to take certain hit and deflects players. Go back to that Iowa vs OSU dismantling and the play where the d-back his hanging on his leg an he still makes the throw to the TE for a TD.
