This is more clear evidence of anti Iowa bias by the btn. 2 years in a row they git this wrong and that is unacceptable. We wait for 4 months to watch this and they don't show it on TV, how lame! What the big 10 network should do is add sub channels dedicated to each school. This makes sure that all programs get shown on TV. I am sick and tired of them picking their favorites and leaving the rest of us out.
why would ESPN go to DesMoines and televise a scrimmage at a high school. If a program wishes to be on TV, you would think they would at least play it in their stadium, wear game uniforms and create some semblance of a game atmosphere. KF and GB do none of that. They are very provincial in their thinking about promoting Iowa football. A few hundred people in central Iowa love Iowa coming to a high school. The rest of the people just see it a more slipping into irrelevance.

Do you not realize that the practice they do at Valley didn't replace the Spring game? They do both.

Our spring game is next Saturday 4/25/15. I thought it was this past weekend.
With the BTN bias I'm more surprised that we have any games at all televised. They clearly don't value the number of tv sets in Iowa or the University of Iowa. We're not a large population base but I wouldn't put Nebraska in that category. If all of the carriers of the BTN dropped it because of a lack of televising Iowa events the BTN would change its programming. Unfortunately with the way sports packaging is sold we would have to give up watching our games without the BTN. We live in a day and age where we have so many options yet in some incidents we are handcuffed with our options. It sucks that our spring gm isn't televised!!
