Soundoff sponsers

That was part of the joke..I was hoping the smily face would give that away..ill try and dumb down my sarcaism for you from now on kool...Hawkeyeshane you got the joke right?

I was thinking you were joking, but even with the smiley I wasn't totally sure! So nicely done! I'm usually on the forefront of "Sarcasm Spotting"!

Breaking News: Humor is subjective!

Not everyone finds one thing humorous. We get it and it is clear that not everyone finds the humor on the SoundOFF amusing, I for one do, but understand some don't. Just as some people find Dane Cook humorous or Conan O'Brien or Larry the Cable Guy or even Jerry Sienfield. I don't find Seinfield amusing at all and I'm sure this offends some of you...get my point!?

There is nothing on this planet that everyone will agree is humorous but I appreciate finding humor in depressing times, like Iowa basketball.

Hooper I am going to buy more from their sponsors just to spite you. Just so everyone knows, this dude was predicting success this season which should tell you everything you need to know about his basketball IQ.

I get your point...I loved "Seinfeld" but never liked Jerry Seinfeld's standup routine...

I love the show...didn't care for the skit...glad they didn't apologize...glad Barta stood up for his guy...not glad that all he did was bring more attention on Friday to something that happened on Sunday and had totally run its course on the boards...til now.

And for full disclosure, I'm "Shane from Marshalltown"...the idiot emailer who gets read every week on SoundOFF. And I love their radio show as well...and apparently alot of other people do as well as ratings for both are more than "adequate".

I KNEW that was you Shane!! I'm "Ryan M. from Waukee"...the idiot emailer who occasionally has emails read. I admit most of my emails are aimed at Iowa basketball but I do so because it is much easier to make light of a bad situation. I poke fun at topics that could use a little laughter.

This was one of my emails during the Alford era when he couldn't even get a bid to the NIT:

"Getting snubbed by the NIT is like getting rejected by a hooker."

I guess this may be offensive to some but you can see a prior post in regards to what I think about that.

Haha...nice!

Edit: I wonder if Keith keeps all of the emails that get sent to the show...I think I smell a book deal to rival Andy's DVD!

In a week full of just awful, awful takes, Hooper roared to an astounding lead with the OP here. Wow, what a boatload of fail that was.

Oh sure...every freakin' time HawkeyeShane nominates someone for "POY" it gets shot down in no time flat...F it, I'm done nominating awesome posts!

Disclaimer: I don't know when HawkeyeShane started "going third person" I only know that it's annoying, even to him...I mean, me...

I'd really like to help but I don't know what a "sponser" is.

definition: a local company with brutally low budget commercials that advertises on Sunday late nite programming or local sports broadcasts

origin: a combination of "sponsor" and "poser"

Guy 1: "Bob Rohrmann's latest masterpiece is on CSN Dude!"

Guy 2: "He is the best Sponser the Cubs have."

Very interesting that no one seems to know who the advertisers are. I guess they are not getting much bang for their buck. Since you guys have all the answers I just figured you would know. Obviously not. Sorry to interupt your little hating party.

No one is going to tell you because no one wants to help you. TV shows usually do not make a secret who their "sponsers" are, so if you want to know that bad, ask them yourself, or go to the show's webpage.

And stop interupting our hate party.

There's only ONE "hater" around here...and he started this thread and despite never seeing the show he's "not gonna take it anymore!"...

In the words of the immortal "Big Toe", Sgt. Hulka...Lighten up Francis...
