i was thinking Oklahoma vs Texas might be the only game(besides iowa/penn state) “the red river shootout” or what ever it’s called. Hope you are correct as i can see both Iowa and Penn State moving up 1 spot in the polls. #3 vs #4!! Yes please!!!Folks have been speculating that given Fox’s show being at Kinnick Game Day wouldn’t come, but it’s getting harder for them not to with Arkansas, Ole Miss, and A&M all losing. Auburn losing would leave Alabama A&M and Arkansas Ole Miss as potentially the only other ranked matchups. PSU Iowa seems the obvious choice to me.
Good point, those teams are so bad/irrelevant that I completely forgot they are playing. Watch for Texas to break into the Top 25 tomorrow so they can hype that game.i was thinking Oklahoma vs Texas might be the only game(besides iowa/penn state) “the red river shootout” or what ever it’s called. Fox is having their kickoff show in Iowa City this week. Don't know if that would affect what ESPN or not but could be a factor in them going elsewhere.Given that this is going to be a meeting of two top 5 teams, it would surprise me if Gameday wasn't in Iowa City this weekend.
Looks like they were both in Columbus back in 2019, no idea of other meetings, but it's not as if it has never happened. That said, between the Red River Shootout and multiple SEC matchups, it's not as if they have no other games to choose from, though Iowa City is the obvious choice.Fox is having their kickoff show in Iowa City this week. Yep, lame!College GameDay: Locations, all-time appearances, most times hosting
ESPN's College GameDay pre-game show goes to a different location every week to preview the week's college football action. Find the complete list of locations, schools, appearances and fun facts here.www.ncaa.com
Says Dallas.
It's their loss. It's going to be a great game in Iowa City.College GameDay: Locations, all-time appearances, most times hosting

Honestly I think I'd give the edge to Texas.Only positive about the Texas vrs Oklahoma game is one of those A-hole’s is going to lose.
Are you referring to winning the game or being the bigger A-hole? LolHonestly I think I'd give the edge to Texas.
Yes.Are you referring to winning the game or being the bigger A-hole? Lol
Gotta be the FOX factor. GameDay isn’t as big of a deal anymore. I’d rather watch the Wolf Bro’s. Chili and Rotel’s commercials on loop like early BTNThey haven't passed on a top 5 matchup since 2004, and that was for a 1 vs. 7
Could be. Wasn't Wisky and ND on Fox 2 weeks ago and on both Gameday and the Fox show? Honestly don't pay much attention to pregame shows. Just remember seeing pictures of signs.Gotta be the FOX factor. GameDay isn’t as big of a deal anymore. I’d rather watch the Wolf Bro’s. Chili and Rotel’s commercials on loop like early BTN
