Soooo....Anti-Ferentz crowd

It seems the ONLY game we played 'to win' under BF, was OSU last year. Pushed the ball down the field, on FIRST DOWN, and pedal-to-the-metal. Every other game, play 'not to lose'....run to short side of field on first down for maybe a yd or two, and play 'behind the sticks' and predictable all game (Defense pretty much knows EXACTLY what we are doing every play).

Defenses do KNOW.Hard on o-line,wr's,Qb ect. 8 in BOX fun huh?GoHawks!

It should be 2-0 with an asterisk. Two halves of crap, one so -so quarter, and a half of decent play offensively. The 2-0, should be given to the defense and special teams. Stanley did step up when it counted. I would love to see him throw the ball again with gusto,. It seems he is doing that thing the QB's do at Iowa after a couple years of coaching/brainwashing, where he is trying to make the "perfect" throw. Let it fly Stanley!!!

There are no astericks. You win or you lose, unless you tie (but only in the NFL). Games are won by teams.

When and hie many games did he really throw with gusto?

If he keeps this up with some imorovement we'll hear how he actually improved year 1 to tear 2 like Stanzi always improved. It will be in the numbers. Will gave very few ints.

True so when we look REALLY bad and lose this year because we can't move the ball those will be LOSES that could've been avoided had we any offensive punch. So yes you are correct.
 
Although if the D puts up top 25 numbers and the offense puts up bottom 25 half of the team IS doing their job the other half is not.

Yes sir. That would be correct. An excellent D goes a long way considering we do have offensive talent. Even if it underperforms, we will win most games and have a shot in all. My guess is the offense wont be bad 12 games in a row.

I think Gutless Gary will retire about the same time KF does and on his way out the door, he'll hand BF the job. Whether BF deserves the job or not. I'm willing to bet on that theory.
