transferred out under Fran, on HR there is a arguement betwen clone fans and hawk fans about taking Transfer and it caught my attention that one of the post stated Fran has lost one to transfer each year. i may be missing somethis but i don't recall a schollarshi[p player transferring.
also i don't consider a JUCO being a tranfer,
please explain?

cully payne and i think 1 other but not sure. also you could take the guys that were released from shollies as a kind of transfer but i wouldnt count them.

with the transfers this yr at isu i would say that they are equal on transfers or more than iowa.

Aaron Fuller transferred after Fran was hired in the spring of '10. Cully Payne transferred after the '10-'11 season. None yet this year, and I would be surprised to see one.

Fuller and Cougill left, but their bags were packed before Fran got there, especially Fuller and well, you see Fran didn't bring Cougill back. Payne left after last season, but he went on to greener pastures to Loyola to start...he was so highly sought after when he announced he was leaving... :D Also, Cougill had an academics issue.
If you want to count Payne...that is it. I can't blame two guys leaving within a month of him taking the job when they didn't enjoy their time in the program to begin with.

Walk-on Branden Stubbs is transferring for more playing time, but no scholarship players have transferred this year.

so by this it looks like 3.

fuller, cougill, payne

dont see anymore leaving this yr and i believe isu is at least at the 2 this yr. so pretty even and they have the mayor.

How many left when Fred got the job and I believe there was at least one kicked off...Boozer, I think.

If you are going to count Fuller and Cougill...count the ones with Freds first year as well...I don't have the number, but I think it was at least 3.

I don't really count Cougill (because it seemed to be more academic than anything else) or Stubbs (because he was a walk-on), but I do suppose that those two have transferred as well. That makes 4 in 3 years.

Tyler Smiff transferred, too. Alex Thompson transferred to Iowa State. Adam Haluska transferred from Iowa State to Iowa. I thought John Lickliter also transferred. Ryan Bain transferred to Akron or something and Jake Christensen transferred to Eastern Illinois. Tony Romo played for Eastern Illinois.

Plz let me know if you need any more ammunition, herby.

thanks i forgot about the 1st year players in Fran's start, some how i don't recognize walk-ons. as there is no obligation on either party as to staying or leaving, as for Fuller that is a tough one as i believe Fran tried to get him to stay, but from most accounts he was as gone before Fran got here.
what about JUCO'S, how many consider them to be transfers like what the Mayor brought in,

Just Cartwright on JUCO's...for now, who knows if Fran will land one this Spring or get a transfer in.

Don't forget little Lickliter.

(and Anthony Hubbard)

Never played or attended classes; have a hard time counting him and actually glad it didn't work out given Iowa's recruiting class for next season. I am not sure how to count that one, Iowa gave him his release before anything other than the PTL.
I am sure that won't be the majority opinion on him since he was recruited...the have been some that had the same opinion of some other players who never played a minute, others disagree.

Hubbard is a tough one he never stepped foot on the court let alone campus for a class, and main question on JUCO's. do you feel they are a transfer, like what the Mayor brings in
