So why are we so bad?

I can think of 2. Woody was not talented defensively. He by his size made a defensive impact. His hands/arms especially were terrible. His positioning wasn't so good. If he bodied up, he couldn't stop anyone well. He did make a big difference as a 7 footer and helped cover a lot of weakness.

Woody was very talented defensively

In your opinion, what does it take to be defensively talented? I would say 75% of it is mental and 25% is ability.
Really? that's genius! lol. Now tell us how you came up with these percentages, Einstein! Lol. You are giving us an INFORMED opinion, aren't you, lol............WELL INFORM US, LOL............

Fair point. The Iowa defense is atrocious and I am not trying to defend it. I am just not sure if the old school way to defend is the right approach.
Please differentiate the 'old school' defense from the 'new school'......Bahahahaha..........You twits are even funnier on the BB site than you are on the FB one..................

Icke referring to everyone as a twit is he taking on a British persona now?
I've always referred to people as twits. It's a 'nice' way of calling people idiots. I haven't looked at the BB site much. I didn't realize that the 'crazies' know as much about BB as they do FB....Bahahahahaha.........

Wow PC, I didn't think it was possible that you could be as effing dumb about BB as you are about FB, but you never cease to amaze me. I'm starting to think you are just a 'plant' to keep things stirred up. How much does 'the site' pay you to 'punk' everyone and keep the 'crazies' entertained? Are you just an alias of Jon's????

You still didn't answer my question. Last year we started 4 very talented defensive players, who on this team is distinctively talented?

Since every player on this team is, according to many on this site and other sites, better athletically than members of last year's team... I would say ALL of them are distinctively talented.
