That's probably his best option. I think he could help somebody. He just isn't a fit at Iowa.

IMHO .. two out of three ain't bad. I agree it's his best option and he can help someone else. (Hopefully not anyone in the B1G or the Clowns.) However I believe he is a fit for Iowa, but with the talent the Hawks already have the minutes aren't there.

Best for both Iowa and Jones to move on at this point. I am just not a big fan of giving older guys with low ceilings a bunch of minutes over younger guys with high ceilings (Pemsl, Cook, Kreiner, Garza). We are loaded at the 4/5 spots for the next several years. Yes I know Uhl and Wagner as well, but I just don't see a high ceiling with those guys. I could be wrong with Wagner, but I have a feeling Wagner is gonna have to step up his game next year if he wants minutes as the other are going to improve a lot.
