So far, so good! Fluke? Doubt it. If he continues his progression, he should be a good option for IA qb's. He has dropped a couple, some mix-ups, and a wrong route also. Considering this is his first year, I would believe that he will be target quite often.

It is obvious that Jerminic is NFL ready this minute. I mean we all know that KF won't play the most talented player, we all know that KF won't play a younger player over a JR or SR. The only reason KF would even consider playing a FR WR like Jerminic is because he is NFL ready know and even a dumb dumb like Kirk can't sit him.

But Jerminic is showing he belongs. It'd be nice to have him as the 3rd WR when Tevaun returns.

I don't know if J. Smith is "go-to." He's much more of the big play threat, the guy who draws safeties back with him on long routes to open up guys like the TEs and Meerkat/Hillyer in the intermediate routes. I would love to see J.Smith opposite T.Smith when healthy with Vandy in the slot on a slant and Canzeri on a wheel or flat route off play action. Two deep threats with a security blanket in Vandy and a pressure valve.

But to answer that question, no, not go-to. Right now still has a few too many drops to be that role. But 118 yards in his second start as a true freshman, i see him being VERY clutch in the near future.
