maybe I am too loyal a fan, but its hard to believe that our guys are really this sad. Clearly there are many teams with more experience and better athletes, but I just don't buy the idea that there is such an enormous gap in ability. Our guys do need a confidence builder, but within the league its hard to see where such a thing might come from. However, I always remind myself that every year there is a team that starts out 0-5, and then gets respectable. Sure would be nice to see such a turnaround.

How many 0-5 teams get dominated like Iowa did? Sure they fought Purdue tough in the first half, but Purdue also couldn't shoot worth a crap.
