So does Iowa now move into the top 4?

Why would you be okay with this?? I would be mad as h*!!

ESPN already talking MSU for top 4 consideration. MSU would have two road victories over top 25 teams, and three wins over top 25 teams. I think it might be justifiable to see:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. ND
4. MSU
5. Iowa

But that loss to Nebraska is really bad. As bad as the Texas loss for OK. Baylor is winning by 16, but against Ok State that's like a field goal. Oklahoma is crushing TCU, so I could see them maybe jumping Iowa, moving Iowa to 6. The disrespect is that bad.

Most likely rankings next week:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. ND
4. Oklahoma (3/4 interchangeable)
5. Iowa (5 - 7 interchangeable)
6. Florida
7. MSU
8. Baylor
9. Michigan
10. Stanford

And I don't see that changing despite championship week, even if Iowa wins out. Oklahoma won't lose again, Alabama probably won't lose to FL, and Clemson will beat NC. Our only hope is that Iowa slips into the top 4 Tuesday, or MSU slips into the top 4 Tuesday. Otherwise, I think the Hawkeyes simultaneously lost both the CFP and the Rose Bowl without playing an elimination game for both.

OK State losing big....if that holds Iowa has good shot at 4.
MSU is not passing Iowa folks. They lost to a team with a losing record.

Couldnt agree more. Hey whar Memphis??? That team right there shows you just how ignorant the rankings can be. Also watching LSU implode is another example of that too.

As of the time of me posting this Oklahoma State is losing. If it ends up that they do in fact lose then an 11-0 Iowa will move up into the top four.

Alabama playing a high school today and with their so called premier victories against LSU and Ole Miss dissolving with both of those teams suffering multiple contusions (loses) recently there is justification for them to drop out.

A legit ranking next week could look like this 1 Clemson, 2 Notre Dame, 3 Iowa, 4 Oklahoma, 5 Michigan State, 6 Alabama, 7 Ohio State, 8 Florida......... In that order.

There isn't a chance in hell Alabama drops out of the top three.

No offense but I think you're a ways off here. Oklahoma isn't jumping Iowa by beating a Boykin-less TCU at home. Florida isn't moving up to 6 after barely beating one of the worst FBS teams. My prediction would be:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Notre Dame
4. Iowa
5. Oklahoma
6. Michigan State
7. Baylor
8. Florida
9. Ohio State
10. Stanford
11. Oklahoma
12. Michigan

Yes, it would have been better for Ohio State to go up against a 12-0 Iowa. This likely guaranteeing Iowa in the playoff or Rose Bowl. If Iowa wins out they will be in one or the other. However if Iowa goes 12-0 but loses to the east division champ, then yes they probably won't get the rose bowl invite over the the Big Ten champ.........unless the Big ten champ is invited to the playoff........ And even then it will be iffy if a 12-1 Iowa team is chosen over a 12-1 Ohio State team. If Michigan beats Ohio State next week then that dramatically increases the chances of a 12-1 Iowa going to the Rose Bowl. A 13-0 Iowa will play either in the playoff or in the Rose Bowl........and that you can take to the bank.

Did you watch the 2nd half? They only beat BC by 3. BC has only won 3 games this year. ND with 5 turnovers. They will drop.

This is absolutely right. Notre Dame should fall out of the top 4 after this performance against BC. I think it's Clemson, Alabama, Iowa, Oklahoma on Tuesday.

ND will drop but only to make room for MSU and Oklahoma I'm saying Clemson,Bama,MSU,Oklahoma,ND then Iowa.

My guess:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. ND
4. Iowa
5. MSU
6. Oklahoma
7. Baylor
8. Ohio St
9. Michigan
10. Florida

I'm starting to wonder if the argument isn't there to put Iowa above Clemson and considering we're undefeated the argument is there to put us above everyone else. No, I'm not saying that we're the best team in the country but resume-wise that's a place you could go. Our win over Northwestern is a better win than a lot of teams have.
**** it. In my rankings it's:

1.Iowa
2. Clemson
3. Alabama
4. Notre Dame

Ah, nevermind, swap Clemson and us. But if Minnesota, Indiana and Illinois all win next week we have 6 wins over .500 or above power-5 teams.
