So does Iowa now move into the top 4?

I think wisconsin dropping out could hurt us but a lot depends on the Oklahoma state vs baylor game or if notre dame gets upset

No way. If Ok wins, they get #4. If OkSt wins, they get #5. Hell, even MSU might jump Iowa. Iowa will come in somewhere 6 or 7 and it will be a very accurate ranking.

Iowa has EARNED their way in...they....WE...are undefeated... The committee will put us #4...but okie state will lose tonight anyhow...just win baby!! 11-0

This. It'll take something bizarre to put Iowa in the top 4. If TCU and Baylor both win, then maybe. But without Boykin and Doctson, I can't see TCU hanging with OU.

at least I don't have to worry about tuning into Mike & Mike on ESPN radio Monday morning and have to hear Chris Carter running his big mouth as to how great ohio st is.

If you're fine with that, does that mean you're fine staying 5th if the top 4 win out?

A win in the title game gives us a likely top 5ish win which would likely put us back in. That game is the key and if we win out i think we're still good.

As for next week, if Oklahoma State wins wins over Baylor and Tcu look pretty good, then again it's pretty much our three good wins against one good win and a great win. It's a toss up based on current resumes.

Of coarse, our conferences bottom half is filled with solid teams and there are arguments to be made about the Big Ten's skill level top to bottom being the best.

Iowa will be #4 IF Oklahoma State loses. I called it last week that Iowa would stay at #5 despite the pessimism on this board. Iowa will be top 4 with an OSU loss. I will bet any of you negative nancies.
