So 7-0 starts are no good for Iowa







Iowa hoops is mirroring Iowa football. I dread the last 6:00 minutes of the first half, as we absolutely suck. We could be up 20 and lose the lead in the last 6:00 of the first half. Not sure I understand benching Basabe after his second foul. He scored 6 points in what, 2 minutes and was unstoppable. Iowa HAD to win tonight to have any chance at a respectable conference record and they gave the game away with dreadful TO's/
 


Everyone needs to step away from the ledge. Go win one game and start a new streak. Win the game after that and see where you fall. The effort was very good tonight. The foul that white picked up on the 3 was a ticky tac and you don't expect that to get called. It was in front of the Mich St bench I don't think it gets called in front of Fran.
 






Unfortunately when were scheduling cupcakes those first seven games I don't think it means too much. We all knew that the real test would start once conference play started despite passing the "eye" test in the OOC schedule. They're playing better than they have in the past, but have yet to prove anything.
