We will be migrating to our new server late tonight (1/11). The site will not be accessible at that time. The site will likely be available on the morning of 1/12, possibly extending into midday depending on how quickly the new DNS information propagates throughout the world wide web, as hawkeyenation.com will be pointing at new server numbers.

So if you log in tomorrow morning and the site is not coming up, it's a part of the move

Be sure to sign up for my twitter account, linked below, as well as 'like' our hawkeyenation facebook page linked below, as I will be posting maintenance updates on those accounts.

The new server & changes we are implementing will provide a faster experience for you and increase the safety aspects of HawkeyeNation.com as it relates to its virus security.

Thrilled to hear it, Jon! Hopefully the move will improve my overall internet experience. My browser has a higher tendency to "stop repsonding" when I'm on this site. Since I updated my Adobe reader for the highlight videos, it's gotten up to 10-15 times a day. Very frustrating to say the least.
 






Yes, we are aware of some issues the video player has been causing...and the company we work with on that widget is also looking into some of the causes...we'll get it straightened out.
 










Jon, will we all have to re-create our accounts? Do we all lose our status as Legends and Leaders, or whatever ....?
 




layout will be the same, but I am considering a redesign in the coming months. have a few fun things in the works that I think have a shot at coming to fruition in the next 8 months (site related, including FB recruiting database ;)

And no, will not have to re-register.

There are typically bugs to work out through a process like this, which is why we wanted to wait until after football, but cannot wait any longer.
