Single Game Tickets

Bravo Sports Marketing has some package deals. Not sure whether or not they are sold out yet, but I was able to get Nebraska tickets for $118 and it included a pass to Hawk Village. It's more than what I wanted to pay, but then again I had to have tickets to that game and I'm a very plan-oriented type of person. I can't stand going to a game to scalp and not having a ticket beforehand. I know it's not usually a problem, but I don't wanna mess with that on gameday.

The Nebraska game is $180 with Bravo.

There are ALWAYS tickets available. The only question is how good of seats do you want and how much are you willing to spend.

If you are looking for 3 tickets or more together, I wouldn't scalp. Majority of scalpers have singles or pairs. If you find a scalper with 4 together, he's going to ask for more than usual.

Buy off Craigslist, eBay or Stubhub. eBay and Stubhub have 100% buyer guarantee. Craigslist, just use common sense. You'll get a better deal with Craigslist but that also means you have to meet the person face-to-face.

Single game tickets go on sale in Middle of July.
Season ticket holders get access to the tickets first. If tickets remain, non-donors and non-season ticket holders get access to the leftovers.

So don't overspend on tickets yet. Wait and see if you can buy them from the ticket office for face value.

You're right my bad... I did pay 180 per through Bravo but that included the Hawk Village pass. Did a quick search on StubHub and they were at 189. I just wanted to make sure I had tickets so I went ahead and purchased them. Figured I might as well go through Bravo since that includes the Hawk Village passes although I probably won't spend a lot of time in there.

I realize I could have got a better price if I waited and shopped around. That's a hassle and there are no guarantees. Plus there is a chance, however small it may be, that the Nebraska game could be an important one. In which case paying what I paid right now to guarantee myself tickets would be well worth it. If the Hawks end up playing Nebby for a shot at the Big Ten Championship then those tickets will be worth twice as much. I realize that isn't likely, but the Hawks tend to surprise when they are least expected.

Iowa prices are highway robbery. Iowa has generally been about a game a year better than Northwestern (but is light years ahead in crimes committed by players) and ticket prices are about 3x higher. The "donation" jacks up the prices a bunch. Sure, our tickets are cheaper than Wisconsin, Ohio State and Michigan, but their teams have actually been to the Rose Bowl at some point during most of their current students' lives. Kurt's gotta get paid. Taking knees and being completely blind to fake kicks and punts don't come cheap.

Hey you dont talk about Kirk that way...hes a saint. He is one of the better coaches in the country.

Penn St is definately the cheaper option and you may have chance to nab tickets at the stadium but I would try to broker a deal now. You could hope against hope that you get them at the game but that can be a painful lessons.
Good luck.
