It would change the teams mindset and not let 15-0 runs happen as often. Our half court defense would be a little better, but we would give up less easy buckets.

If we slowed it down we'd get beat 60-45 instead of 90-70. The problem with doing that is there would be no articles about how special our players are and talking about them breaking offensive records.

I disagree. I think it would help quite a bit to not have slow players trying to outrun faster players. Not sure how anyone could argue that.
