Nice article this morning in the CR Gazette on hits and misses for signing day, plus a list of 11 walk on's. I am sure from looking at this list that (1) not many recruiters had a kid from Webster City or some other small town in Iowa, on their radar...maybe some hidden gems? and (2) I would bet next month's social security check that 3 or 4 of these kids end up as solid BT players. Also...2 walk on's from the JC world, plus one scholarship guy and, a transfer from UNI. Interesting.

"I came to the conclusion that wherever you go no matter what you have to be happy and judging off my visit to Tulsa and visit to Iowa talking with players and viewing the city period, I felt comfortable with Iowa," Parker said. "It also was closer to home, even their away games."

"Tulsa has had a really hard time getting people to come to their games and it is even worse in the other stadiums in the conference. And speaking of conference, when did CUSA turn into the SBC? But, hey maybe Tulsa will get an invite to the MWC and I can play my games thousands of miles from home. Yeah, No."

There seems to be a tug of war on Twitter over ownership of the hash tag #BulliesoftheB1G between Brian Ferentz and Iowa wrestling. Not sure who to put my money on there...
