He threw some nasty blocks today in his role as a "specialist". He absolutely bitched one Nubber LB on Sargent's last long run. Been a long, odd year for him, but I don't think he ever complained or pouted about his role, and he deserves all the praise and fortune coming his way. Definitely a good Hawkeye.

Agreed. With all the bitching out there, I never saw it from him and it never showed with his body language. He never appeared to be anything but a great teammate, at least from my view.

If he has a good idea of his draft stock, and how he was “used” for 4-5 games, I’d sit if I were him.

It's difficult for a young guy (and apparently his family) to understand, but even though he didn't have a lot of targets later in the year and today, he was pivotal in the offense serving as a decoy opening up space for others. He completely changes the game.

That is just what happens with great players in college football. Other teams key on them, so he really needs to take it as a compliment and understand that is a role and important. NFL execs know it. In the NFL, he will have the opportunities as there will be others opening up his game. George Kittle can attest to this.

This is some good perspective, and George Kittle has certainly had a wonderful NFL career so far.

Well yes, in the NFL almost all teams have 2 really good wideouts on the field at any one time and great receiving backs. Hard to double TEs
