Shonn Greene Just Took One To The House...

I like the thought of LT getting a lot of carries during the regular season...it'll keep Greene fresh and we all saw last season what a fresh Shonn Greene could do in the playoffs.

It was just a financial move and they got lucky that LT isn't quite as washed up as people thought. Thomas Jones was a good, verteran leader who could have helped Greene out too, but the Jets cut him to save $3M.

I wouldn't go that far. There were people who thought that LT's struggles were due to an O-Line that wasn't up to par anymore. He's lost a little, sure. But he was far from washed up. He just needed an upgrade on the O-Line. I'm not saying that the Jets saw that, but they could have, and recognized that they could get him at a bargain price. Jones is a good back, but LT is Canton-bound.
