I thought I'd report, because I'm sure you all are on pins and needles with anticipation, that Juan Harris played quite a bit for Indiana in week 1, transferred to Bowling Green and played week 2, and played yesterday for Utah St. in an effort to be a part of every college team throughout his career.

Oh some kid who quit on our program because he wanted to run a spread offense is having a good year playing in a spread offense that we never would have ran?

Exactly the guy wasn't good enough to see the field at Iowa. Put Stanley on that offense against Kansas and he has 400+ with 6 TDs.
 
Willies lost his starting job this week (keep in mind they start 4 WRs too), and his replacement did well enough he isn't likely to get it back. He did get a garbage TD from the backup QB when they were up 54-19 or something in the fourth and the starters were out of the game. But he barely played before that, although he had a nice block on one of the TD runs. He is a heck of a blocker, too bad he has such bad hands.
 
I realize that I'm in the minority, but I do care. I just think it's interesting to see what we could have had for the better or worse. I realize that someone's success or failure doesn't mean they'd do the same thing at Iowa, but still interesting to see how these guys progress. Thanks Josh!

Whatever happened to Derrick Mitchell? He was supposed to have transferred to Texas Tech but I haven't seen any stats on him and he doesn't appear on their roster?

He is the leading rusher for Incarnate Word. He left TTU because, according to one of his tweets, he needed to be closer to home.
