Seriously Griese, shut up.

Basically everything that turd blossom said annoyed me too.

He he just basically had no clue and spike out of his preconceived notions if what Iowa should be in his opinion.

the moment that really showed how completely out of his element he was regarding Iowa was when on Beatherds last play he said Davis choose to pass instead of run as a "teaching moment" because CJ still needs to grow.

lol WTF? What a fricking moron. Just absolutely clueless.

Fairly obvious he didn't spend any time watching Iowa before today. Beathard basically won the Pitt game with his combination of running and passing (40 attempts). I started throwing things when he said the best 4 teams in the conference were in the East (this includes Penn State). Good grief, Penn State which lost by 17 to Temple and has wins over Indiana, Buffalo, Rutgers, San Diego State and Army.

Will be interesting to see how many 1 and 2-loss SEC teams Iowa will be behind in the polls after the bye week next week. I'd say it's still less than half/half that Iowa goes 12-0. The teams are generally weak, but Iowa is a Beathard injury away from season over. The talking heads on ESPN will have their heads explode if Iowa goes into Black Friday 11-0.

The division is worse then the old Big 12 North, but who cares. 7-0.

From what years? When the North had the best teams, or the last few years when the south was better? Or, are you spewing talking points intended for the weak minded to lap up?

Griese was a bit uneducated on alot of things... for one he was talking about our resurgence being that we were avoiding the good big ten teams...

While I agree with him on some points... we have had a weak schedule a bunch the last 5 years but still managed to blow it.. so he really didn't know what he was talking about.

I've really noticed the past couple of seasons, when Griese gets caught up on one thing he will best the dead horse with it. I remember he called the Tennessee and S Carolina game in 2012 & 2013 and the DE Clowney had one sack in the 12 game against Tiny Richardson that come at the end of the game that helped stop the drive and secure the win. Other than the one sack he made and 1 tackle, Tiny shut him down the whole game. Then come the 13 game, he really couldn't shut up about that one sack the year before. He was talking like Clowney literally dominated the game. He went on and on about it. And then comes today's game, he wanted to make sure that Everyone heard him about Iowa's 6-0 weak schedule. I sure did feel better after watching how Michigan blew their game and lost! Lol. Go Hawks!

Not even close. The Northwestern team that just lost to Michigan & Iowa by a combined 78-10, beat Stanford, who is beating the crap out of everyone else they play in the PAC 12. They also won on the road at Duke. Stanford was lucky to score against Northwestern is scoring points at will in the worthless and over-hyped Pac 12. They put up almost 100 total points against USC and UCLA. Iowa beat Pitt who is in first place in the ACC.
I hate Nebraska but they are 4 plays from being 7-0.
Wisc. has lost only to Alabama and Iowa.
Minnesota barely lost to 3rd ranked TCU.
Illinois is very average but better than previous years.
