Anyone with an actual working brain knows you were not being racist. With that said its over the top and comical for you to criticize her for how she celebrated her GOLD medal victory. Chill!
 
I didn't have a problem with the dance. I did think it was a bit much that she performed a drive-by in the parking lot afterwards.

Are you kidding me?? Do you really believe that Serena was doing that dance because of what it once "represented"? Do you believe the same of the teens and twenty-somethings who perform this dance at schools and clubs all across the country?

Point being that once something of this nature has been widely adopted by youth culture, its original meaning has been so far diluted that the symbolism has been all but completely lost.

Serena does a silly 5 second dance (that was probably little more than an inside joke between her & Venus) and she's RUINED the Olympics?

What if she had flashed the crips or bloods sign with her fingers instead? Would that have been super acceptable too? So at a time when the entire world is watching you, everyone and everything your representing, you give a shout out to a gang that’s killed how many innocent people?
