Sell me why Iowa pulls it off in Madison

If Iowa can go +2 in the turnover battle they will win. If they don’t they probably lose.

I agree, turnovers is what did in Wiscy against ILL and OSU.

Without turnovers, Wiscy will just wear down Iowa and Iowa will only score a couple of FG's.

But If Iowa gets a couple of turnovers deep in Wisconsin territory, they will get 4 FG'S, which might be enough for Iowa to win 12-10.

Based on Nate Stanley's biorhythm chart it does not look promising. He's at the bottom physically, emotionally and intellectually. Not good. Petras on the other hand has a much more promising chart. Very high physically and decent scores intellectually and emotionally. Since all offense hinges from QB position scoring appears to be a problem. Sorry I can't sell you Iowa will pull it out. Maybe Stanley can defy the ODDS by a spiritual intervention.
It was famously reported that two of Mike Tyson's three biorythym charts were on the critical day (crossing from positive to negative or vice versa) the night Buster Douglas made him eat the canvas. Depending on what two charts it is, it can take up to ten years between occurences. Bummer for Iron Mike.

Well our best offense is gonna be our punter so if Iowa is going to pull this one out we will need points from the defense.

Jeez, I've been reading to many oldhawk posts!

Multiple WI injuries at the skill positions and multiple turnovers by WI. In other words, a complete fail and meltdown by the Badgers. I give Iowa a 20% chance of winning.

Many people like to use the 2017 debacle as a baseline for this game now, when in reality it was an aberration. We moved the ball fine on Wiscy last season, we just shot ourselves in the foot. Not to mention that only 2 defensive players from Wisconsin's 2017 2-deep remain on the roster (and neither was a starter).

Reality is, this game is always close. 2010, 2014, 2015, and 2016 were all 1-possession games. 2013 and 2018 were both skewed by garbage time TDs. Hell, even 2017 was a 1-possession game deep into the 3rd quarter. I'm not expecting a win, but I am expecting another nailbiter.

I take you back to the 2007 season. I happened to have seats behind the bench where QBs were. I cannot remember what game it was exactly, but it was one where the offense couldn't do anything and the defense was on the field all the time. It was a point in the game I think where Mitch King had enough and coming off the field from the north end, made a point of yelling very loudly toward the QBs and KOK, stating, "Score some F-ing points!!!!". The QB then was JC. Kind of a recurring theme with this team.

The Hawks are 121st in rushing on the road. Hope 2017 was an aberration. It wasn’t an aberration that year though. 66 yards is one hell of an aberration.

Iowa has a chance if Dayvion Nixon comes back to his home state and on a big stage stuffs Taylor and the heart of Wisconsin's running game.

He's been coming on of late and this would be a good time to shine under the bright lights.
That's really Iowa's only chance. Iowa needs to stuff the run and get an early lead and make WI think they have to pass. If not, Taylor will have a huge day. Unfortunately, I think it will be something like 24-6 WI.

Do you believe they can pull it off? You must have thought about it, do you think they can?

The way the stooges on KGYM (local ESPN) are talking, Iowa should just stay home and hide. Boy Wisconsin is mad now and that works against Iowa.

Iowa will win by 28, much like the OSU Game and we'll all wear this T-Shirt
