Seantrel Henderson Released from USC

It'll be Miami. This is all just pretty sad. By nearly all accounts Seantrel is a good kid, and it's his dad who is screwing all this up for him. "Go to L.A. so I can get my rap recording deal!" Nevermind that if you want to become a top-flight offensive lineman for the NFL, Iowa and OSU are two of the very best places to go.

Doesn't matter. He shouldn't be taking visits UNLESS/UNTIL he is released from said LOI. At the time he was in Miami, he had NOT yet been released.
 
Where ever he goes this year, I'd be surprised if he played at all.

He's not doing a school-specific workout and is wayyy behind everybody who is.

He'll end up sitting his true freshman year which is ironic considering it was probably a major factor of where he went (playing at a true frosh)

You mean that if you signed with a school, later only to find out that they were crooked as can be, you wouldn't go running???

So...you're saying Sean/trel (either one) didn't know U$C was "crooked", or at best, under
potential NCAA punishment(s)? They only mentioned (about 6 times) that Sean/trel hadn't signed the LOI until they were reassured. If Sean/trel (again, either one) was/were stupid enough to let Lane Kiffin be the source of credibility for leniency/no punishment, then the only question remaining is, "Just how stupid ARE these two?"

But again: all he had to do was tell U$C, "I do not plan to enroll. You may release me from the LOI now, or wait until next spring for me to ditch your school. But make no mistake, I will NOT be attending your school". Once they "officially" refuse, he has them by the jewels, i.e., tell any/all media that he was lead to believe the sanctions were not forthcoming, or at worst, would be minimal. In other words, all he had to do was be gracious about it.

Again, the very key here is: Thank God KF didn't go out of his way to pursue this kid and his twisted father.
