Scrimmage?

I was saying awhile ago that Jones would be starting by B1G play, but I'd even be surprised if he starts right off the bat.

Good call, I was of the opinion that by the time he was healthy, players would have passed him up.

I looked at it as... he can shoot a very high percentage from the arc to the rim along with good rebounding. As long as his defense isn't horrible and he's healthy enough to play 25+ minutes, he'd start. I just didn't think he'd be healthy enough to play that many minutes right away.

I was reading some stuff on anther free site about the scrimmage:

-Jones started & looked pretty good, hit a few 3s

-Uhl was a non-factor. One poster mentioned he might be battling a little injury. Uhl is kind of an enigma, some people really like him and others seem to really dislike him, so I take the opinions with a grain of salt. I like him as a player and think at the very worst he's a good role player for a team. I think one big thing for him is confidence.

-Moss didn't play a whole lot. That kinda sucks as many had high hopes for him but not surprising as we haven't heard much about him this offseason.

-Ellingson hit like 3 or 4 3s. It would be awesome if he could be a consistent shooter this year off the bench.

Uhl has never really shown me much. He's good in spurts but far too inconsistent to handle heavy minutes. Jones is definitely the better player and would also add an element of toughness Uhl just doesn't seem to possess.
